Aleksi just wanted to stay with Dominic and do whatever because he was so drunk right now. He didn't want to fall but knew his legs might give way if he tried to walk fast right now.
Dominic was inherently adventurous as a person and all the new foods were of interest. He hadn't remembered mentioning melon juice but then Aleksi seemed very drunk.
"Maybe I should carry you?" He could feel the wobbly way that the younger man was walking. He might fall at this rate.
Aleksi snorted drunk giggles and wanted to kiss Dominic's naked body but knew this wasn't the right setting at all. Could he persuade the older man into bed? Not in this fucking state though. The Finn was totally out of it, pickled on booze.
"Uh, let me try to walk first, should be fine--"
The boy grinned and hopped off the bar stool awkwardly, near grabbing onto Dominic's arm as he felt his knees buckle.
"Try me?" Dominic asked. He'd heard that but only in the context of fighting. He didn't think that was what Aleksi meant but he couldn't think of any other context.
"You're going to fall." Dominic held him up and then easily lifted Aleksi into his arms. It was obvious the younger man was in no condition to walk back but Dominic could carry him without problem.
The Finn shot the other man a sly wink and just assumed he was messing about or teasing him, pretending to not know what he meant. Aleksi was so drunk he had no filter between his dirty thoughts and his trash mouth right now.
"Aw, you think so? Good thing I'm not wearing fucking high heels like my prissy brother then."
That got a high-pitched giggle out of him as he felt himself being lifted by those strong arms. It was hot.
Dominic really was lost. He had no idea what it meant but the winking and giggling confirmed it definitely wasn't the fighting context he was used to.
"It's a long walk back." And Aleksi almost fell getting off a stool. Dominic adjusted him a little so that Aleksi ended up with his head on his shoulder and cradled in his arms. Then Dominic started to walk out. It would be about a 20 or 30 minute walk back. It really wasn't that far.
Aleksi just shrugged and didn't really get what Dominic meant at all since he was drunk and reading the man all wrong. Ah, whatever. He was hot and being trashed on booze in a club with him had been a fucking blast!
"I've had fun tonight, meeting up with you and getting trashed. Did you have fun too?"
The boy hoped Dominic did, even though he acted rather awkward and unsure. As for walking back? Aleksi knew getting a ride would be quicker.
"You're walking back with me in your arms? I mean, we could get a ride."
"Yes." Dominic said it but he really didn't understand what was fun or not yet. He hadn't tried enough of all of these new, and frankly illegal or death sentence things, to know.
"I don't mind." Dominic said as they stepped outside. "I walked here."
He still didn't think like people here and he was wary of vehicles too. None of that put his mind on getting a car.
Aleksi was glad because his mission tonight had been for Dominic to come out with him at the bar and have fun. The man needed it because he seemed so serious and uptight, maybe awkward too? Out of his comfort zone almost.
"You walked all the way here? Fuck! Well---if you're happy with that."
The Finn just sighed and felt his eyes closing as the scenery around him was spinning. Or was he spinning? He was so drunk.
"I don't mind." Dominic repeated and the truth was once Aleksi started hanging on him, and now laying against him, it felt good. He couldn't pinpoint why but he knew he did and so went with it.
If Aleksi fell asleep Dominic wouldn't mind and wasn't bothered by walking back in silence.
Aleksi was holding onto Dominic with his arms latched around the taller man's neck as they walked in the night. Would he be able to find the way home? The trashed Finn hoped so as he eventually passed out in Dominic's arms. He'd been drinking himself into a stupor at the bars and now it had come to teach him a lesson.
Einar, was probably back at the bus wondering where the hell his drunk brother was.
Thanks to Damien's training and helping him with security, Dominic knew which bunk belonged to Aleksi. It does take time to get back but he's soon climbing on the bus to put, the now passed out, Aleksi into his bunk. He's probably going to at least have to pull off his shoes in the process.
Einar was just finishing off his last glass of red wine with Hunter when he heard the bus door open and noticed his very drunk and passed out brother. He was being carried by Dominic, of course he was. Rolling his eyes, Einar walked away from the bar area and wondered what had happened.
"Is he alright? Drunk himself into a stupor at the bar?"
The Finn was used to this behaviour but it didn't stop him from worrying about his brother because this was his blood.
Dominic didn't really know Einar and gave him a critical look over when he approached. The defensiveness over Aleksi is already starting and anyone with enough relationship experience might see that Dominic like the younger man in his arms.
"We were drinking together." Dominic answered and shifted to pull Aleksi closer.
Einar knew Aleksi liked to get trashed out of his melon and this wasn't the first time he'd come home with a new "boyfriend." Yet, this one seemed more real than the others and the Finn could see a possession in the older man's eye. That meant something more permanent which made Einar feel relieved in many ways. He could still be wrong though and that was why he always kept on guard meeting new men hanging around with his brother.
"You are looking after my brother? He gets very drunk and runs his mouth off a lot."
Maybe this time Einar wouldn't have to go into mother hen mode and scald his trashy brother for doing something stupid.
"I'm Einar, his younger brother. What's your name?"
By this point, Dominic probably reeked of booze even if he looked completely sober for the most part.
"We've been drinking for a couple hours." Dominic didn't see anything wrong with how they had been spending time, not here anyway. Back home all of this would have been criminal. When Einar introduced himself, Dominic easily shifted Aleksi into one arm, cradling him against his chest and shoulders, so he could offer his hand. Damien had told him this was normal here.
"Dominic Fox. Damien is my younger brother." Brother was about as close as he could explain their relationship.
"My brother usually drinks until he passes out at bars."
Einar was impressed with the taller man's strength, seeing him easily hold onto Aleksi while shaking the younger Finn's hand. He was definitely Aleksi's type; tall, handsome and masculine.
"I was curious about his new drinking partner and aren't you the catch? Tall, handsome and masculine. No wonder my brother likes you."
Of course Einar wanted Vidar but he did like looking at masculine men.
"Thank you for escorting my drunk brother's ass home because I do worry."
Which was mostly true, after the younger man had fallen on him.
"I only met him tonight." Dominic didn't exactly understand all of what Einar ment with what he was saying but he did not at the compliment. "Thank you."
Dominic looked down at the Finn sleeping in his arms and shifted him again now that he had his hand back. Escorting really didn't feel like the right word. "I carried him back from the bar."
Which had been about two miles if Dominic had to guess without looking at a map. He glanced back into the bus. "Do you know which bunk is his?"
Dominic wasn't sure. He didn't even know everyone yet, let alone where they all slept.
"He does that a lot. I'm almost used to him being this way after a heavy drinking session at bars with his friends."
Einar resisted rolling his eyes because it might come across as disrespectful to this man who had brought his drunken brother back home. He only met him----tonight? Einar was a little surprised at that but didn't think it was anything unusual.
"Do you usually carry strange drunken boys back to their bunks after only just meeting them? I have to admit I'm rather taken aback by your honesty and kindness towards my brother. Thank you."
The Finn smiled a little and pointed to where Aleksi's bunk was. Who was this man? He didn't seem like any of the other boys his brother had dated. He wasn't particularly trashy at all and didn't seem drunk out of his head either.
"He wasn't with any friends." Dominic's honesty was coming out but it also meant that he and Aleksi were alone. Alone, and even when the younger man was shitfaced on booze Dominic took care of him.
"He came out to meet me." Dominic shrugged because he didn't understand any of the social distinctions or standards that were going on in this conversation. "It would be wrong to abandon him passed out with strangers."
Dominic was naturally protective, aggressively so when needed. Even if he didn't like Aleksi's company he would feel wrong about leaving him behind so vulnerable. Then he nodded and stepped away, gently laid Aleksi in the bunk, took off his shoes, covered him up and closed the curtain so he could sleep off the booze. Despite his size, there's a gentleness to how Dominic moves Aleksi around to get him in bed.
Once the task was done though Dominic felt awkward. He didn't know how to exit a conversation or interaction well. Even less so that he didn't understand the social cues and norms here yet.
Einar didn't think that was unusual if Aleksi was meeting up with a new boyfriend, which Dominic seemed to be now. The norm was usually the trashy Finn going out with his friends, getting drunk and causing chaos. The cops were sometimes involved too.
"I don't mean to appear rude or ungrateful but I barely know you and my brother is unpredictable. Thank you though--for bringing him back to me."
The prissy Finn did smile and knew it was polite to offer the man something to drink or eat.
"Would you like something to eat or drink? Since you did walk all that way with my brother in your arms."
"I don't like other people." That was both an expression of his mindset but also the way he was feeling after Aleksi leaning on him for so long. He felt stirred up inside.
"He will be safe with me." He meant it too. There would be hell to pay if anyone so much as upset Aleksi or anyone else Dominic was getting close to. That was the Ministry training to be unflalteringly loyal.
"I can drink more." He still felt nothing from earlier and assumed this was more offers of cocktails.
"I can see your point of view there. Some people are utter assholes and the rude ones I can't stand."
Einar was prissy and often viewed his thoughts verbally when it suited him. If some moron wanted a fight then the Finn would slap the shit of them with an added kick to the crotch too.
"There is comfort in your words but I would like to get to know you better, Dominic. Someone saying they'll look after my brother is one thing but I hardly know anything about you."
The slight mother hen tone coming out in the singer's voice. He couldn't help it. Aleksi was his brother. The Finn was pulling out two cleaned wine glasses as he spoke along with a new bottle of red wine.
Dominic nodded but he wasn't sure this mam did see his point exactly. Still it was a comfort to know they were in a similar mindset.
"What do you want to know?" When pressed with these kinds of questions and the more serious tone, Einar was likely to quickly learn how blunt and honest Dominic could be.
"I've never had wine." He admitted but was willing to try.
"Well, where you've come from, your job, interests, that kind of thing. Of course, you don't have to tell me anything but I'm just curious since you're interested in my brother."
Einar poured them both a large glass each, passing Dominic's his, watching the man's expression. He seemed---different from the men Aleksi had chosen before. Was it instinct or something else? Einar wasn't sure.
"You haven't? That's a first for me because I love it. My favourite drink of choice."
