Dominic skimmed right over the question about where he was from. Tom had told him he shouldn't mention it but the other questions he could.
"I was born for military service in the same program that created Damien but I am older. My early training was in leadership tactics, lethal hand to hand combat, and espionage but by the time I was 14 they changed my focus. I worked in the genetics and human science laboratory and..." how should he describe this? "...when I left my position I was head researcher for the military genetics program focusing in human genetics."
That was as delicate a way to describe what he had done. He didn't get the comment about being interested in Aleksi and just assumed it meant interested in friendship or maybe interesting to Aleksi.
"We tried all the cocktails in the bar tonight." Dominic took the glass of wine, smelling it briefly before downing the whole glass like a shot. He didn't know any better.
